I've spent my entire career in banking, with more than a decade focused on Fund Finance. I joined Balance from HSBC Innovation Banking (formerly SVB) where I was Managing Director and Head of Business Development, responsible for the acquisition of new fund clients. I started my career as a graduate trainee at NatWest Markets with the majority of my time as Vice President in the funds team. This was a material business, serving the bank’s large cap sponsor customer base.

I enjoyed underwriting transactions earlier on in my career, but it was clear I got a buzz from being out in market, building new relationships and supporting managers in the initial structuring of debt facilities. I've been lucky to work with fund managers on an extensive range of financing solutions, and I have built out product offerings in different geographies. 

As Head of Origination at Balance, I am responsible for introducing new managers to our creative and tailored financing solutions whilst also managing relationships with our existing clients, ensuring that they receive ongoing market insight on a regular basis whether through regular communications or curated events.

Away from work my family keeps me very busy. I share two wonderful young children with my husband, and whilst we live in London we also love to spend time as a family at my parents' farm in Nottinghamshire. When I get the opportunity I like discovering new restaurants with friends.
