Emily Rose joins Balance Strategic Capital

We are excited to announce that Emily Rose has joined Balance Strategic Capital as our new Head of Origination.

Emily brings over a decade of fund finance experience, having previously worked at HSBC Innovation Bank (formerly SVB) where she was Managing Director and Head of Business Development, responsible for the acquisition of new fund clients.

Emily is a widely respected funds banker with market recognition including:

  • “The Most Influential Fund Finance Expert” (2022)

  • “Drawdown Fund Finance Lender of the Year” (2024)

At Balance, Emily will be leading on origination with a mandate to build processes and structures to support this function. In this role she will be working closely with our Head of Credit & Structuring, David Proud, who was a colleague of Emily at Silicon Valley Bank.
